Where caring for a loved one doesn’t mean caring alone.

Greenwich Carers is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of unpaid carers in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and beyond. We are based at the Greenwich Carers Centre in Charlton Village SE7.

We have a team of advisors who can support you to get the best for the person you care for and for yourself.  At the centre we have a wellbeing worker who will work with you to support your own wellbeing and who can guide you towards activities and workshops that can enhance your wellbeing.

The Carers Centre is a haven where all carers are welcome. A place to relax, perhaps in our café or in our garden, and spend time in the company of others who understand the challenges of being a carer.  We have social activities and events, workshops, information sessions and therapeutic groups all available here at the centre.

We work closely with partners, hosting a memory café and drop in sessions with Mindcare Dementia support, advice sessions with Greenwich Action on Disability, and Carers Assessment drop ins. Mencap meet here. Cruse’s walking group gather in our café.  We are a focal point for carers of people with a wide range of needs.

Please take a look around our website and find out more or better still drop in and see us.

The centre is open weekdays from 9am to 4.30pm and our cafe is open between 10am and 3pm.

We look forward to meeting you…
